CIC advises and supports a growing number of Churches throughout the District.
These include:
- The Welcome, Knutsford
Assisting in the creation of a Community Interest Company to run a community cafe on the Longridge Estate which will provide provision for youth, wellbeing and advice services.
- The Salt Cellar, Oldham
Assisting in the successful procurement of over £20,000 for youth and advice & guidance services. Help was also provided with governance and restructuring issues to enable them to operate as a charity.
- Platt Lane, Manchester
Assisted the Church with the restructure of services to the elderly. Also assisting the Church with redundancy of surplus staff, negotiating a new contract with Manchester City Council Adult Services and bringing in new funds for the Church.
- Nexus, Manchester
Assisting this new expression of worship cafe with successful funding applications, advising them on their restructuring including help with their constitution.
- Boundary Road, Salford
Helping a small Church to re-establish itself as a community hub. Providing support and networking links with local authority and the community/voluntary sector. Community usage of the Church is increasing and the Church is now utilising IT to its advantage.
- Sale, Trafford
Supporting the Church in the development of their wellbeing services and cafe and the recruitment and selection of staff.
