

Davy has over 30 years experience of working and managing initiatives related to community development, crime, substance misuse and regeneration in both the voluntary and statutory sectors.

John is the Senior Development Manager for CiC with specific responsibilities for management of our services to Methodism. He has extensive experience of grass root work and also in engaging at the highest strategic level with local authorities, police and health services.


David Walton is a partner in DWF, a lawfirm based in the Northwest of England. He is actively involved in the Methodist Church both locally in Salford and nationally. He is a former Vice-President of the Methodist Conference and currently serves as Chair of the Methodist Council. He is a trustee of a number of charities, as well as being involved as a professional adviser to others
Tom Grimshaw has been active in local politics and has served on Transport, Police and Health authorities as well as having gained long experience as a school governor. He is a retired Assistant Headteacher who worked in Hulme, Wythenshawe and Chorlton and gained an insight into the social and economic challenges of the city. As a longstanding Unitarian and Free Christian is pleased to have the opportunity to support the Methodist commitment to social action.
Stuart Wild is minister of Didsbury with Barlow Moor Methodist Church and East Didsbury Methodist Church. He is also Superintendent of the Manchester Methodist Circuit.
Alan Bolton is a Methodist minister currently serving in Hyde and Denton in Tameside. Before entering the ministry he was an inspector of taxes and continues to take a special interest in financial issues. He served nine years as a trustee of the Methodist Ministers' Pension Scheme. He is a school governor and committed to building the church's involvement with local communities.
Alan is married to Anne, a school bursar and a director of Methodist Insurance plc, and they have two grown-up children who live and work in London.
Kate Hammond is a Solicitor. She worked in private practice before joining the CPS in 2001.
She has special interest in Community Justice and anti social behaviour. She is a youth specialist prosecutor and a Crown Advocate and has prosecuted in every Magistrate's court in Greater Manchester and both Manchester Crown courts.

Claire Evans is the Chief Executive of 4CT Limited, a charitable company based in East Manchester delivering a range of community activities and managing 2 community facilities. She is a qualified voluntary sector manager with Youth and Community Work training and currently completing an MSC in Facilities Management. She is also a freelance consultant with Community Matters and former board member of Manchester Credit Union and City in the Community (MCFC's charity).
